musiCare Richmond (Nelson)
is able to help you with problems on keyboards, organs, piano accordions, Hammond and Leslie products
Keyboards
Generally these modern instruments either work or dont work, but sometimes a key can get broken, or a power supply becomes faulty. It is also possible that the power socket on the mother board becomes intermittent. Most of these problems can be fixed, but the older the instrument the less likely of finding parts.
Organs
Again broken keys and power cable problems seem to be the main complaint, but in most cases can be repaired. Age is also a problem for getting parts.
Piano Accordions
A lot of these instruments are now getting very old. I can assist with displaced keys, sticky bass notes and noisey valves . The most common problem is that they need tuning and I am also now offering a tuning service. A photo of my tuning bench below.
Hammond Organ
The B3, C3 and A100 are the best known of the big Hammond draw-bar organ. The smaller L100 is a similar more common model. I can replace keys, test valves and help diagnose and repair faults.
Leslie
Used with the Hammond organs, I am able to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical parts of these units.
